Poet Bar™ is a new urban hotspot making its presence in Phoenix, Arizona. We host underground poetry and music that is raw, honest, and real. Our featured poets range from open-mic amateurs to seasoned masters in spoken word and written form. They share a unique perspective of life experiences that earns credibility in the streets and respect from literature scholars. Our open bar serves mental foreplay™ and verbal intercourse™ through poetic words, profound emotion, and prophetic imagination. The poet's voice is heard among the background sounds of jazz, neo soul, rhythm and blues, reggae, deep house, and hip hop.

Poet Bar™ also features musicians in celebrated showcases. Local and global artwork including thought provoking texts of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding contribute to the authentic diversity of this sacred environment. Poet Bar™ is a multicultural sanctuary for creative minds promoting social substance, freedom of expression, and intellectual conversation.
